Rachel Evans performs  regularly in recitals on baroque and modern violin and viola and in concerts with various ensembles whose repertoire spans baroque to contemporary music, including Early Music New York, Ars Antiqua with whom she recently took part in a recording of Francois Philodor's "L'art de la Modulation" with Elizabeth Wallfisch, and the Blue Hill Bach Festival. She appears in the ongoing NYC Cable series "The Facts," (also online at 1687inc) and, as a sound and movement artist is a member of Continuum Movement Arts. She teaches strings at the Rippowam Cisqua school in Bedford, violin, viola and chamber music at The Storm King School in Cornwall, and maintains a large teaching studio with students from all over the Hudson Valley. Ms Evans earned B.Mus. and M.Mus. degrees at The Juilliard School of Music.
